Helping the Calders

We have spent a few days down at Fruit Heights trying to assist our daughter, Julie and her husband, Dave as they demolish their kitchen in preparation for a new kitchen! What an undertaking that has been. Especially for them!
They now have no kitchen at all. Just bare walls. No tile on the floor - no kitchen sink - no stove - and the refrigerator is in the dining room! Convenient but weird! The electricians come tomorrow to re wire the kitchen and then put up new dry wall. We will go down next Saturday to paint the walls before they put the floor down. I will try to continue to post pictures as they move ahead.

Spring Visitors

Our good friends, Lee and Carolyn Gifford stopped by to see us on their way home from Arizona. How wonderful it was to be with them again. Come on spring, we want to drive up to Rexburg ID but hate to think of being caught in a snow storm. The Giffords are eternal missionary friends from Martins Cove. We are hoping we can all get together and go camping this spring.

We met the Sheffields, Beck and Andrea, for dinner on Monday in Ogden. The meal was good but the time spent with friends was wonderful. Or to mimic a trite comercial saying " Priceless" . The Sheffields are going to go on a Mediteranian crusie in March. We need to work up the courage to take a cruise before long. We would hate to miss something on the "bucket list". I would post a picture of the four of together but for some reason Oops! It will not load.

We hope to be able to spend some time with the Bairds in the next week or so. We really are enjoying having the opportunity to share so many experiences with good friends.

We purchased a new Weber grill with the gift card our Branch gave us as a gift when we left NH. It is just what we wanted, and cooked the steaks we had for Sunday dinner, to perfection. Yummy!
